Well it’s been a while since I’ve done a post here on my main blog so let’s just dive in. I met another mother of an autistic adult child the other day & offered to share a link to one of my blog posts that still gets attention all these years later:
Well in the course of emailing her that link I decided to see if I could find the original source blog & perhaps some other potentially interesting material either she or her daughter might enjoy. Here’s an excerpt from that email with some of those links:
Here is the original post that my above writing was in reference to, in the archive:
I’ll do a quick WordPress search to see if there are other young ladies on the autism spectrum who have sites that Might be of interest to you &/or your daughter. By the way, Word Press offers free blogging & website services, as well as paid levels with greater functionality, so it could offer a “community” where you &/or your daughter may find like minded people with shared interests…
Ok searching just within WP there is Way Too Much to share in a casual email. Here is a link that has multiple blogs authored by the actually autistic:
Well I was searching within Word Press & found a huge amount of material that I hope to dive into, but in case I don’t, here, at least in an accessible manner, is what looked interesting to me, without digging in to any of these posts or sites & evaluating them. I’m sharing them here Purely FYI…
These are going to be in no particular order, as I’m frantically writing this post at the library & have just over an hour before I get kicked off their system. There are posts &/or sites that are About autism, that are Written By the autistic spectrum individual, or are written by a family member, some informational or research focused, & also some creative &/or artistic material that touches on autism.
Hopefully we might find something of meaning to support our individual journeys of life!
Whoa, when I saw this next one my heart skipped a beat for I have the same theme for my archived site of a medically themed blog regarding my autistic son’s liver transplant journey, from my perspective: JazzmanJournal.wordpress.com
I’m going to go out on a limb & say, without reading the above (yet) that autism is most likely rare among the Amish because they do not vaccinate their children. Vaccines are apparently a Major Cause/Factor in developing autism. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, has been doing significant work in exposing these dangers with an (his?) organization called Children’s Health Defense, I believe.
Here’s another one where I might need to drop a link to my Autism, ADHD, & girls post:
Well that’s the end of my super eclectic collection of autism posts &/or sites of interest to me found today within Word Press. Frankly I wish that I had time to read & process ALL of them but we’ll see. If it turns out that I really end up digging in enough to comment elsewhere I’ll probably copy such writings back into my blog, possibly in comments to this post, in a new post, or even interspersed above within this post.
Blessings & Best Regards to all who stop by who are, who might be, who love, who ponder, who pray, who research, who play, who wrestle, who rest, who reflect, who create, who inspire, who thrive, who trailblaze, who amaze, who gaze, from within, without, beside, behind, beyond, above, & below Autism & The Spectrum. May God guide, heal, direct, instruct, indwell, protect, shelter, sustain, & love us all!
Well it’s pretty much no secret that I am easily distracted by Gab.com’s relatively new AI image generator, known as Gabby. Even being a free(loading) Gab user one can generate up to 500 images a month, at least that was the case the last time I checked. Basically if I get in the mood I can seem to follow the image generation process nearly as long as desired–fun!
I’ve written a number of posts that go into details about Gabby & my endeavors there:
Those posts above & the Q-Tree post linked in the first “galactic” post here on Special Connections contain the bulk of, if not the entirety of, the images I’ve gotten Gabby to generate for me. Frankly, if I were not still banned on Pinterest I likely would have saved those creations there instead of taking up so much blog space with this pastime…
Well I’m wanting to dive into further image generation challenges but am running into my own ignorance of ways to get closer to what I would like the AI to create. So this post will also include links to some of the material that could help in the process of better steering that AI process. Many of these sources of info come from other Gab posts. Gabby’s page has a link saved to help the process. https://gab.com/AI
Within the above post is this link: https://news.gab.com/2023/02/how-to-use-gabby-the-ai-image-generator-by-gab-com/ Just scanning down that page it looks like I basically need a glossary to make sense of many of the details shared…sigh. Being that this is something being done online I want it to be Fast, not require more study to “perfect” the process…quite unrealistic of me, LOL!
@myunfilteredbrain@AI I copy images, past into irfranview (free). It’s really simple to crop and resize… with I do background on Rylism Devotionals. They’re all 1200×900 (Facebook Post in SketchWow) a setting I also created in “Lunacy” (also free at http://icon8.com) Hope this helps (naturally, not all images look very good when resized from their original, but most landscapes & similar do. https://gab.com/aegiswiz/posts/110089853039184596

Using the Yandex search engine I found a number of sites that can be helpful on styles:
So since I need to get some sleep & am running out of gas I’m going to try a prompt with Gabby to see what might develop: Alice in Blunderland with creations here too: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110100949008123238
That looked like Gabby had a specific character in mind but that context isn’t familiar to me. So let’s try a slight twist: Alyssa in Number-land with results captured here: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110101004750993785
That might be based on another character with which I am also unfamiliar. Let’s see what Gabby will do with this final twist on that theme: Morticia in Sunder-land, results here: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110101030401561357
I wanted to take a sleep break but those last images got me thinking of another prompt: Morticia meanders through the mortuary monuments, atmospheric, muted colors, mist, apparitions, moonlight, poster quality, extreme details, 8K, #wide #facefix results here: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110101064210559242
So let’s see what Gabby does with this one: Morticia meets Gomez, monuments, moonlight, atmospheric, muted colors, mist, moonlight, starry sky, poster quality, extreme details, 8K, #facefix with the results seen here too: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110101095675655220
Well that gave me another thought: (first date goth teens Morticia & Gomez), gothic, monuments, moonlight, atmospheric, muted colors, mist, moonlight, starry sky, poster quality, extreme details, 8K, #facefix with these results saved here too: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110101277172664434
Well let’s see what’s currently hanging out in Gabby’s AI Group for fun…
Now I’ve gotta see if Gabby will let me play with a similar prompt here: Botanical illustration beautiful, perfect, whimsical woodland floral fairy, sketch on white paper, background white, reflective rain drops, flowers, style by Arthur Rackham, style by Brian Froud, sharp focus, hyper-realism, magic art, whimsical, fantasy, pen and ink, coloring pencils, blended water color, muted colors, high quality, fine line art, #facefix & all results can be seen here: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110104893194106975
So that’s not quite what I’d hoped to see so let’s see what this prompt generates: Botanical illustration beautiful, perfect, portrait of woodland firefly fairy, sketch on white paper, background white, reflective rain drops, flowers, style by Arthur Rackham, style by Brian Froud, sharp focus, hyper-realism, magic art, whimsical, fantasy, pen and ink, coloring pencils, blended water color, muted colors, high quality, fine line art, #facefix…all results can be see here: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110104939515928245
So let’ try another prompt modification to see what beauty transpires here: Botanical illustration beautiful, perfect, (portrait of floral princess), reflective rain drops, style by Arthur Rackham, style by Brian Froud, sharp focus, hyper-realism, magic art, whimsical, fantasy, pen and ink, coloring pencils, blended water color, muted colors, high quality, fine line art, extreme detail, poster quality #facefix with all results showing here too: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110104974743436787

So that was a tad light on the alien side so let’s try a modified prompt again here: Botanical illustration (portrait of beautiful alien princess), reflective rain drops, fireflies, leaves, flowers, lights, alien worlds, (style by Arthur Rackham, style by Brian Froud, style of Alphonse Mucha), sharp focus, hyper-realism, magic art, whimsical, fantasy, pen and ink, coloring pencils, blended water color, vivid colors, high quality, fine line art, extreme detail, poster quality #facefix & again all the results can be seen here too: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110105041124698504

It would be awesome if more of the artists would share their prompts to help us refine our own AI art endeavors…
So that image made me want to try another prompt: futuristic Detroit skyline, river view, year 2121, extreme detail, poster quality, (stunning sky: clouds, sunrise, sunset, northern light, stars, moon, &/or rain), flying vehicles, 8K, #wide results can be seen here too: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110117840594596058

I’ll have to come back to the info above for the computer reloaded & I lost a decent # of things that I’d saved 😦 Hopefully this recreated most of what disappeared…
The next 8 images are from this prompt: Michigan’s North Woods, extreme detail, poster quality, abundant flora & fauna, stunning skies, weather, Matisse style & found here too: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110117980971600207

I really liked how that prompt worked so let’s try it again! (I still had those images in the Gabby chat so I said “reroll” but Gabby had “forgotten” the prior prompt so needed to be refreshed…fyi)–here are the results: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110135114995325801
Let’s try a modified prompt here: fashionable ladies, Mackinac Island, nighttime lights, reflections, stunning skies, horses flowers, saturated colors, fantasy, (style of Renoir, Monet, & Mucha), extreme detail, poster quality, 8K, #facefix; results here too: https://gab.com/ValerieCurren/posts/110135150579509568

Well this post has been in development for a while now as I was using image searches & generation as a bit of a break from working on taxes (ugh). Any way I’m going to post this as is since there will likely otherwise be no end to what further images I could tack on. Plus there is always the comment space where I hope you dear readers (assuming Any One but me ever reads this) might consider some of your own creations.
It’s no secret that I’ve been having fun playing with Gab.com’s new artistic AI, Gabby. Being a free(loading) user of Gab I have a limit on how many images can be generated in a month, likely still 500/month per a recent Gab post seen in the Gabby AI universe (either on Gabby’s home page or in the Gabby AI Art Group). Anyway this post is called “Gingerly” because at some point I expect to butt up against that image limit again, like I did last week. If you’re not familiar with Gabby please see my other posts on the topic.
Here’s the prompt for the following images:
Botanical Illustration, beautiful hawaiian fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
As long as Gabby is still letting me play I’ll attempt a slightly modified prompt here: Botanical Illustration, beautiful ancient grecian fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
I might be pushing my luck today but let’s see if Gabby will let me do another prompt: Botanical Illustration, beautiful warrior elf woman fashionista, fantastical flora & fauna, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
If Gabby will continue to indulge me I’ll see if this prompt can be modified again here: Botanical Illustration, beautiful warrior elf woman fashionista, fantastical flora & fauna, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, fireflies & other lights in the sky & scene, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, vivid colors, high quality, 4g UHD
Maybe I’ll try to modify the prompt again if Gabby will let me still play: Botanical Illustration, beautiful warrior woman fashionista, fireflies & other lights in the sky & scenery, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, vivid colors, high quality, 4g UHD
Let’s see if we can play with Gabby one more time in this arena, prompt:
Botanical Illustration, beautiful dancing firefly faerie, fireflies & other lights in the sky & scenery, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, vivid colors, high quality, 4g UHD
I wonder if this wider ranging prompt modification will yield some good results?
Botanical Illustration, beautiful dancing firefly faerie, fireflies & other lights in the sky & scenery, sunrise or sunset over water, by Arthur Rackham & Claude Monet, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, vivid colors, high quality, 4g UHD
Well that’s probably enough of Gabby’s creations from my prompts. I’ll likely be checking the Gab AI art group for some interesting & eclectic images to archive in comments.
If Anyone is enjoying Any of this please drop me a line & of course share any images you have created using Gabby or just appreciate on “her” or the AI Art Group. Blessings!
Well, having pinned my earliest rendition of these fairies to my Gab profile, I keep seeing the beauty of the Hawaiian fairy version so I want to try a few more fairy iterations, as long as Gabby might indulge this process. So here’s the next prompt:
Botanical Illustration, beautiful australian fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
Let’s try a slightly different version with this prompt: Botanical Illustration, beautiful japanese fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
If Gabby is still indulging my requests, here’s the latest prompt: Botanical Illustration, beautiful african fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
I wonder if I can run another version with this prompt: Botanical Illustration, beautiful indian fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
If I haven’t reached my Gabby limit yet let’s see if this prompt works well: Botanical Illustration, beautiful american indian fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
I’ve got a couple more fairy ideas to try, so let’s see if this prompt works: Botanical Illustration, beautiful ancient egyptian fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
Let’s see if Gabby will indulge another version of fairies with this prompt: Botanical Illustration, beautiful french fashionista fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
That didn’t really generate fairies so let’s remove the fashionista component for this prompt: Botanical Illustration, beautiful french fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
Now I wonder what Gabby might do with a mythical location prompt: Botanical Illustration, beautiful atlantis fairy, by Arthur Rackham, hyper-detailed, sharp focus, magic art, fantasy, ethereal, pen and ink, color pencils, blended watercolor, fine line art, light colors, high quality, 4g UHD
Well now that should wrap up the body of this post (again) so If the muse strikes then at least collecting other people’s artistic creations in the comments is a possibility!
Hope you have enjoyed viewing this eclectic collection of fanciful fairies. Blessings!
